Can I wear makeup before the appointment?
Yes, before the appointment you can wear makeup, it will help us to understand what type of makeup you like to wear. We clean the face and disinfect the skin before tattooing.
Can I wear makeup after the appointment?
After the procedure you can wear makeup, but not near the treated area. Skin needs time to heal and breathe. Also, there is the possibility that cosmetics could be contaminated, which could lead to infection.
You can go back to applying makeup 10-14 days after the procedure. It depends on how fast your skin heals, this is a very individual thing.
Can I go to work after the permanent makeup procedure?
Yes, you can but please make sure to keep the treated area dry and clean. Please don’t touch your fresh tattoo with dirty hands to avoid infections. Avoid environments that would cause dirt or germs to contact pigmented areas while healing.
Can I work out on the procedure day or the day before it?
It is recommended not to sweat and exercise after the procedure for a week and the day before the treatment. Higher body temperature enlarges pores because sweat consists of salt it causes faster pigment fading.
There is a risk that the skin won’t take the pigment at all. This will result in patchy spots and additional touch-ups. Please avoid physical activities for a week.
Can I swim after the procedure?
Do not swim in salt, or chlorinated water, don’t expose yourself to the sun until the area is completely healed. It might cause pigment fading or color changing. There is also a higher risk of infection.
Can I sunbathe before and after permanent makeup?
Sunbathing is not recommended before the semi permanent makeup procedure since the skin gets overdry and changes color. It is harder to choose the right color that will suit you also after you lose suntan.
You should avoid the sun before and for about 14 days after the procedure. Remember to protect the pigmented area until it is fully healed. Otherwise, there is a high risk of hyperpigmentation and discoloration.
Is permanent makeup aftercare complicated?
Post-procedure care is not complicated. You need to follow Permanent Makeup Artist instructions. You should avoid touching pigmented areas and remember about applying a thin layer of aftercare cream twice a day on clean dry skin. That is most important to remember.
Can I drink alcohol before the procedure?
Drinking alcohol 2-3 days before permanent makeup is not recommended. For your safety and faster healing, it is better not to drink at all.
Can I get permanent makeup if I am under 18 years of age and I have my parents’ consent?
The law forbids performing any permanent makeup procedures to minors, even if they have their parent’s consent.

Usually, it is the result of poor aftercare. For example, if the pigmented area is touched with dirty hands or contaminated cosmetics during healing.
Hormonal changes while pregnancy can cause pigment rejection. While pregnant some women experience changes in facial tissue. Skin absorbs numbing cream that goes into the bloodstream. It is wise to postpone the procedure after pregnancy.
Can I get permanent makeup while nursing?
You should wait at least 8-12 weeks after the labor if you are nursing. Only lip procedure is not recommended, if you suffered a cold sore in the past, because you would have to take antiviral medication before and after treatment.
